No, Americans are not your friends
When it comes to online culture,
there's a seriously misguided perception that
Americans are just your amicable "friends".
And who would not believe it?
why would these friendly, easy to talk to
individuals NOT be your friends?
What you don't understand about America is this:
In the american mind, there is no room for
"allies" or "friends".
that status is reserved for humans:
mostly fellow americans.
everyone else is just a business
opportunity.
sure they fight amongst themselves they push
silly identity politics stuff.
but make no mistake:
if you are from the third world, or a
country they have serious problems with
(north korea, russia, china)
they will stand firmly together to screw you over.
Because only America matters.
i know, i know.
'how could these wonderful people in these
awesome movies i watch ever be horrible people'?
well, who asked you to get your stupid ideas
from movies? movies are FICTIONAL.
they are NOT meant to show you the truth.
so just because you watch their stupid movies
and play their stupid videogames
it won't change the way they fundamentally see you
or the way their media wants them to see you:
